The CERV (Community Emergency Awareness Volunteer) ProgramThe goal is to address public safety risks in Ontario by promoting individual and community awareness and action through a training program that prepares residents to take an active role in the Emergency management concepts.
The potential benefits of this program are obvious. Volunteers would have an increased awareness and training in Basic awareness and training in Basic First Aid and CPR, which could be used to inspire the confidence to help save neighbours, friends or even family member.
Neighbourhoods that are organized do not waste precious time figuring out who can take care of what. This project will prepare neighbourhoods on how to protect their possessions and reduce the risk of hare to themselves.
